RESPONSIBILITES:

+ Establishes and monitors systems for inventorying and ordering prostheses, implantable devices and other specialty supplies used in surgery and other procedural units. + Responsible for coordinating supply processes for all units within Perioperative Services, procedural imaging and other units. + Coordinates ordering, maintenance, and repair of operating room and other procedural equipment to ensure equipment is available and functioning properly during surgical, imaging and other procedures. + Coordinates repairs with Medical Engineering and Facilities Management. + Coordinates loaning or borrowing of equipment and supplies for surgical procedures. + Coordinates with Environmental Services to ensure a clean working environment in the Operating Room and supply areas.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ A high school diploma or equivalent. + Two years of experience in hospital materials management or working with operating room supplies. + Experience using personal computers.
