This job is with Encode, Inc a fully owned subsidiary of Lancesoft Assists in coordinating and scheduling on time delivery of parts and commodities by following established schedules and procedures. Assists with audits and other forms of analysis of information from multiple sources to determine accuracy relative to delivery schedules, inventories levels, requirements, etc. Assists with reconciliation of discrepancies in information to mitigate or minimize disruptions in the supply chain. Maintains and updates information systems that distribute materials management information to required recipients. Coordinates the flow of limited materials management related information between and among internal and external recipients. Interprets information to identify problems and supply chain trends or patterns. Suggests potential solutions to resolve problems of limited scope affecting the supply chain. Releases order to fabrication or assembly organizations to initiate manufacture of products. Works under general supervision. Position Responsibilities: • This role requires the ability to interpret contracts and their requirements • Familiarization with Support Equipment hardware • Management of transactional orders • Support of bid and proposal activity • Participates or manages projects using approved project management techniques • Initiates changes to supporting processes and related documentation • Provides low-level training on procedures and processes related to engineering and production • Assists in the development of production proposal activities • Provides technical and administrative assistance to meet regulatory, production and process requirements • Communicates with internal stakeholders to ensure products and services compliance • Works under general supervision Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Associate's degree or higher Two (2) or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with reading and understanding contract language Basic knowledge of Boeing Support Equipment hardware Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience in project management such as scheduling, resource management, and performance measures. Experience in Product Support / Logistics Concepts Strong communication skills and customer focus Experience working with safety and quality processes and procedures Experience with Material Management processes Associate's degree or higher
