Join our Distribution Services team and play a critical role in keeping campus operations running smoothly. As a Materials Handler II, you will serve as a lead team member responsible for receiving, tracking, sorting, and delivering packages, freight, and mail across campus. This position combines hands-on warehouse and delivery work with leadership responsibilities, customer service, and operational coordination.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a physically active environment while helping guide daily team operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience Only:
Two (2) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position, which included:

Education and Experience:
A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to two (2) years (Transcripts must be attached for educational credit)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using package tracking or logistics software such as QTrak.
Lead worker, supervisory, or team coordination experience.
Experience working in a higher education, government, or large campus environment.

This position requires two (2) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position, which included: - Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. - Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, distribution, delivery, logistics, mail services, or related operations. - Ability to safely lift, move, and transport packages and materials weighing 25-50+ pounds on a regular basis. - Experience using computer systems for tracking, inventory, or package management. - MUST BE A CURRENT EMPLOYEE AT COLORADO SCHOOL OF MINES Please note: experience must be clearly documented in the "Work History" section of your application.
