The Opportunity

Under direct supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a
store or warehouse.

The daily shift for this role is 2nd shift (2:30p-11:00p M-W, 1:00p-9:30p Th-F)


What You'll Do

  • Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
  • Pick order, pack, receive, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
  • Ensure proper routing of materials is maintained while transporting the materials between departments.
  • Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock and inventory records.
  • Retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on stock transfer, inventory levels or delivery schedules).
  • Perform other routine clerical activities according to the organization’s established procedures.
  • These activities may include updating stock cards and inventory records, and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/ GED

  • Minimum 3 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of material handling or prior warehouse experience preferred.

  • Seeks efficiency in systems/processes. Manages own time under general supervision.

  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Oracle experience preferred.

  • Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.

  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.

  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

  • Needs to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.

The base pay for this position is

$20.50 – $41.00/hour
