Material Specialist

As a Material Specialist, you will assume an array of responsibilities pertaining to, but not limited to receiving POs, importing materials, and rotating and storing stock. Maintain a clean, 5S environment and participate in continuous improvement activities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Restock pallets as needed: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Operate equipment (fork truck, pallet jack) in accordance with safety regulations
• Assist in loading shipments and unloading deliveries
• Receive items into Oracle system (Warehouse Management System)
• Other job-related duties as requested

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to work as a team and independently.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to learn basic functions within Oracle (Warehouse Management System) for receiving
• Ability to certify as Fork Truck Operator (sit down indoor/outdoor, reach truck) in accordance with Metronet Guidelines.
