Primarily responsible for planning, monitoring, and coordinating the job flow within and between each of the manufacturing and support departments to ensure the accurate and on-time completion of customer orders.
Position responsibilities:
- Reviews customer orders requirements against material and tooling availability for the generation of production work orders.
- Identifies material requirements on all work orders, enters “Request for Quote” and ensures purchase orders have been entered.
- Generates and releases all Engineered Product work orders to Production.
- Creates production schedules.
- Reserves raw material for future deliveries.
- Reviews, approves and processes Order Amendments and expedite requests from Customer Service.
- Advises the Production & Customer Service staff via production meetings or emails on priorities
- Ensures that all costs associated with the job have been applied properly
- Review and address/correct schedule exception reports daily.
- Responsible for daily transactions related to work orders.
- Ensure same day shipments of stock products.
