Job Title: Material Handler Location: Southaven, MS (100% Onsite) Duration: 3 Months Contract Pay rate: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour on W2 Schedule: 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Job Description:
The Material Handler plays an important role in safely transporting parts and materials throughout the facility using equipment such as a cherry picker or TRI LOADER. This position supports multiple areas of the operation by efficiently moving, counting, and preparing materials while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload trucks.
Put away incoming freight.
Replenish orders to support daily operations.
Supply cardboard boxes and bags to production departments.
Transport finished goods to the shipping area.
Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Maintain safe behaviors on and off equipment in compliance with all Emerson, federal, state, and local safety regulations.
Meet department quality, attendance, and productivity expectations.
Must have:
Experience with operating a TRI-LOADER.
Experience in Warehouse environment.
Experience in loading and Unloading.
Effective and efficient use of a handheld RF scanner.
Willingness to work frequently on and off powered industrial equipment.
