    HiFyve is hiring a Material Handler in the Manufacturing industry in St.Louis, MO!

    Pay: $20/hr

    Shift: 3rd shift 9 pm to 5 am

    Location: St. Louis, MO

    This role supports extrusion production lines by ensuring materials, equipment, and finished goods are handled safely and efficiently. You’ll play a key role in maintaining production flow, supporting changeovers, and ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and storage of products and scrap materials.

    Job Responsibilities

    Supply raw materials and production supplies to extrusion lines using a forklift

    Complete final pallet pack-outs per process instruction sheets

    Weigh and record A-grade product and scrap on production sheets

    Move finished goods to storage areas

    Backup packing operations during breaks

    Operate pelletizer (startup, monitor, adjust, and clean as needed)

    Weigh, label, and transport regrind materials

    Ensure all scrap is processed through grinding/re-pelletizing systems

    Set up and store auxiliary equipment after production runs

    Assist with mechanical changeovers on production lines

    Maintain a clean and organized work environment

    Enter maintenance requests for malfunctioning equipment

    Troubleshoot issues, prioritize tasks, and take corrective action as needed

    Safety & Compliance

    Follow all plant safety policies, procedures, and guidelines

    Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely

    Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma required

    Forklift certification required

    2+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments

    Technical Skills

    Ability to follow complex written instructions with minimal errors

    Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools

    Experience operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, pallet jacks)

    Ability to use measuring tools (scales, rulers, calipers)

    Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Access)

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements

    Work around hot plastic extrusion equipment

    Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

    Hands-on role requiring physical activity throughout the shift
