Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Material Handler / Shop Hand to support production operations within a manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City, OK. This position is responsible for receiving, staging, moving, and issuing materials throughout the facility while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient workflow.

The ideal Material Handler is safety-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred
Manufacturing experience is a plus
Forklift experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Receive, stage, and distribute raw materials and work-in-progress (WIP) throughout the facility
Verify incoming shipments, material counts, and purchase order information
Label materials and report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged items
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as authorized
Assist with inventory organization, cycle counts, and material tracking activities
Support packaging and shipment preparation processes
Maintain accurate inventory locations and material identification
Report damaged materials, safety concerns, or quality issues immediately
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments
Forklift certification or previous forklift operating experience
Inventory control and warehouse organization experience
Experience supporting production operations and material flow
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and material movement throughout the shift
Ability to work around forklifts, cranes, and industrial equipment safely
Comfortable performing physically demanding work for extended periods
Required use of PPE including steel-toe boots and safety glasses
Work Environment
Manufacturing and production facility
Fast-paced industrial environment supporting production operations
Exposure to forklifts, cranes, moving materials, and warehouse equipment
Indoor production environment with active material movement throughout the facility
PPE required at all times in designated work areas
