Summary: Under the general direction of the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, this position is responsible for all material handling activities within the Lapp Cable Works production floor and supporting areas. Primary activities in this role are material-handling related, including raw materials unloading and staging, finished goods transfers, cycle counts and any other necessary material related functions that support the daily operations of LCW.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Forklift Certified
LANGUAGE SKILLS
COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with RF Scanners or SAP is a plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILL: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and very heavy raw materials.
