Job Summary
Supports Operations by moving materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility with a variety of powered industrial equipment.
Essential Job Functions *
Operates a variety of powered, industrial equipmentLoads and unloads trucksAbility to use a hand scannerPicks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dockUnloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage areaProvides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely mannerPulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locationsTransfers finished products to designated areasStacks empty skids and pallets in designated areasOperates a manual and/or motorized pallet jackUses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger

Education & Experience
High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Competencies- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Material handling experience is strongly preferred.Forklift Certification required.Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.

Work Environment
Material Handler: Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.

Material Handler: Medium- Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs.
