This role involves safely handling and managing cargo using authorized equipment such as pallet jacks, rider jacks, standup, order/cherry pickers, turret, reach trucks, and forklifts over 5K, after training.
Responsibilities include signing off BOLs, cross-checking packing lists, picking, put-away, inspecting cargo for damage, labeling, and loading/unloading materials onto pallets and vehicles.
Additional duties include recording units moved, attaching labels, scanning freight with RF equipment, completing paperwork, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
The position requires physical stamina, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing or sitting for long periods, and working on-site. Skills include basic math, problem-solving, teamwork, and punctuality.
High School diploma or GED preferred, with over a year of related experience. Forklift certification is required within 90 days of hire. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
