What You’ll Do


Primary Impact:

Ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant movement of materials across receiving, storage, and shipping operations, enabling timely delivery and operational excellence.


As a Material Handler II , you will:


+ Execute shipping and receiving operations by verifying incoming and outgoing materials, inspecting shipments, and ensuring all items meet quality and documentation requirements

+ Prepare and manage shipment documentation including packing slips, bills of lading, and inventory records with a high level of accuracy

+ Move and handle materials safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques to transport goods across warehouse locations

+ Support inventory integrity by performing cycle counts, identifying discrepancies, and contributing to root cause analysis and corrective actions

+ Maintain warehouse organization by properly labeling, storing, and staging materials in designated locations

+ Utilize systems and tools (e.g., Excel or ERP systems) for data entry, tracking, and reporting of inventory and shipment activity

+ Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, suggesting enhancements, and supporting operational efficiency initiatives

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and support teams to ensure alignment and timely order fulfillment


Who You Are


Minimum Qualifications


+ High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)

+ 4+ years of experience in warehouse operations (shipping/receiving, materials management, or forklift operation)

+ Ability to accurately perform data entry and basic analysis using tools such as Excel

+ Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the workday

+ Proven ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a warehouse environment


Preferred Qualifications


+ Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for shipping and inventory transactions

+ Knowledge of inventory control processes, including cycle counting

+ Familiarity with manufacturing or engineering change processes

+ APICS certification or equivalent supply chain training

+ Strong problem-solving skills with experience identifying root causes and implementing solutions

+ Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills
