Material Handler I
LOCATION
Fort Worth, Texas (Onsite)
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Pay: $20.00–$21.25 per hour
• Employment Type: W-2 Contract
• Assignment: June 30, 2026 – January 15, 2027
ROLE IMPACT
The Material Handler I plays a key role in maintaining accurate warehouse inventory by receiving, verifying, and stocking products efficiently. Success in this role is measured by inventory accuracy, safe equipment operation, and timely movement of materials while supporting daily distribution center operations.
KEY DUTIES
• Operate manual and powered material handling equipment to receive, verify, and stock inventory accurately.
• Use RF scanners to confirm product location, quantity, packaging, and expiration dates where applicable.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or spills to the appropriate team members.
• Break down received shipments into correct selling units and place inventory in designated storage locations.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while following company policies, safety procedures, and workplace expectations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to successfully complete required powered equipment and machine safety training.
• Strong reading, writing, math, computer, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable warehouse work experience.
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Operate RF scanners and warehouse material handling equipment.
• Read product labels, small print, and distinguish between similar products by size, color, or vendor code.
• Work in a fast-paced distribution center while managing multiple tasks and following established procedures.
• Handle damaged materials safely and follow spill response procedures when required.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-volume environment.
