A stable, collaborative precision fastener manufacturer is seeking a Material Handler to join the team. The ideal candidate is a dependable, safety-conscious team member with forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and production operations through safe material movement, pallet handling, and shipping support.

Location: Houston, TX 77035
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Day shift: MondayFriday, 7:00am3:30pm

Responsibilities:

Operate a forklift safely to move materials throughout the facility.
Load and unload trucks as needed.
Load and unload tables to support production and warehouse operations.
Use the pallet wrapping machine to prepare materials for storage or shipment.
Move wrapped pallets into designated storage or staging locations.
Support daily material handling and warehouse flow needs.
Maintain accurate and legible written information as required.
Pay close attention to detail when handling, staging, and moving materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety and quality procedures at all times.

Requirements:

Previous forklift experience required
Ability to operate a pallet wrapping machine preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required
Strong attention to detail
Legible handwriting required
Reliable attendance and punctuality required
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
Steel-toe shoes required; safety glasses provided
