Description

  1. Maintaining control, tracking and reporting of all raw material and lot numbers, using current inventory system to ensure accurate inventory levels while ensuring compliance of company safety and housekeeping regulations.
  2. Accountable to production supervision and Materials department for all transactions, activities and reporting done on your shift.
  3. Assist in training of all new Material Handlers to ensure that all Material Handlers act and respond to all requirements in a consistent manner to ensure that robust processes and procedures are maintained.
  4. Safe Operations including fork truck safety, sweeping material form floor, cutting back trip hazards and reporting any and all safety issues.
  5. Communicate daily with production supervision and other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth and consistent flow of information.
  6. Make daily entries to shift log to facilitate communication between all Material Handlers.
  7. Performing safe and proper line clearances.
  8. Loading, unloading and cleaning of material handling systems.
  9. Keeping the vacuum system and drying system filters and dust collectors clean.
  10. Keep production areas supplied with packaging materials.
  11. Follow pass-downs from previous ship to help set priorities on the shop floor.
  12. Mixing materials as required for jobs.
  13. Performs all related work, as required.
  14. Staging of materials and assist in staging of all packaging and supplies required to support daily production requirements.
  15. Return of all unused raw materials, packaging and supplies to the warehouse from the production area in a neat, orderly and accurate manner.
  16. Box and label product in clean room packing areas.

       

      Warehouse:

      1. Keeping warehouse, material racks, regrind, and manufacturing areas cleaned and well-organized at all times.
      2. Responsible for regrind, collection, storage and disposal of scrap materials.
