Position Description

 

For more than 33 years KLD Labs, Inc., has provided innovative machine vision solutions tailored for railway customers’ monitoring, measurement, inspection, condition-based maintenance and asset management needs. We are looking to hire a Material Coordinator for our manufacturing production located in Hauppauge, NY. We are an equal opportunity employer in a stable industry. Responsibilities for our Material Coordinator include:
• Assist Planner in ensuring materials are present with each Job order released to production.
• Assist Production Supervisor in communicating material requirements.
• Assist Production Supervisor in organizing materials in order to meet production goals.
• Interface with Engineering as required to troubleshoot bill of material inaccuracies.
• Perform Cycle counts to ensure inventory counts in stock and Floor inventory are correct.
• While performing the duties of the job, the coordinator is regularly required to stand for an extended amount of time (when kitting).

Qualifications Required

• Bachelors or equivalent 
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Strong teamwork, communication and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to effectively manage changing/multiple priorities.
• Highly developed organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications Desired
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Familiar with Deltek Costpoint
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining focus on objectives.

Salary Range

$25.92 - $32.41USD
