Job Posting: Material Coordinator A

Location: Pascagoula, MS

Job Overview:

This role is responsible for interpreting material work orders to determine material needs, coordinating with warehouse personnel, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to job sites. The ideal candidate will have prior shipbuilding experience and a strong understanding of shipyard terminology.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with warehouse personnel to verify material availability and identify back-ordered items.

Arrange for the transportation of materials to job sites.

Forklift experience is required for this position.

Follow up on back-ordered materials to prevent project delays.

Maintain accurate records and documentation for material receipt and movement.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Knowledge of shipyard terminology.

REQUIRED Experience & Training:

5 years of experience in shipbuilding, warehouse, inventory management, or a related field. 1 year documented forklift experience. 1-2 years experience in inventory management and material logistics.
