Manage and maintain material control systems to ensure accurate tracking, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to align material availability with project schedules and sustainability objectives. Validate inventory levels, adjust material quantities, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and specifications. Document material requirements comprehensively, including all relevant data necessary for procurement and order processing. Collaborate with site teams to ensure materials are delivered in the correct quantities and within required timelines. Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and solutions-driven work environment. Identify issues related to material control and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

University degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Experience Requirements

Proven experience in material control, supply chain, or logistics within the energy, chemicals, or resources sectors.

Key Skills

Strong understanding of engineering documentation, including blueprints and specifications.

Proficiency in managing material control systems, processes, and related tools.

Ability to plan and execute complex material control tasks with minimal supervision.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
