Material Controller Pay: $21-24/ hour

Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm M-F

Job Summary:

The Materials Requirement Planner (MRP) is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials required for production and operations. This role involves inventory planning, data analysis, and Customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze provided forecast to optimize reorder points and stocking levels.
  • Maintain SAP master data (planning parameters: lead-times, batch sizes, safety stocks, etc.) to optimize the replenishment strategy and decrease the use of data outside of the system

Inventory Management:

  • Plan and maintain inventory levels to meet production requirements while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Utilize SAP to monitor and manage stock levels.
  • Change and creation of plant data, storage views, warehouse management views, MRP views (Material master).
  • Analyze stock reporting to minimize factory disruption due to improper stocking levels.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials.
  • Collaborate on production planning to align material availability with operational needs.
  • Working with vendors to ensure return of stock under "Return Material Authorization" RMA.
  • Collaborate with other TI stockrooms worldwide to transfer stock to and from.

Process Optimization:

  • Identify inefficiencies in material planning and propose improvements.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all material planning activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in materials planning, supply chain, or inventory management.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and vendor management abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in supply chain management.
  • Computer based knowledge, Excel, outlook, Word.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
  • Work Environment:

This role requires working in an office, with occasional physical demands such as inspecting inventory. The MRP must manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
