What You’ll Work On

  • Ensure compliance to all applicable business policies, laws and regulations, inclusive of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, and processes.

  • Attract, develop and retain a diverse qualified staff through effective training, development, succession planning strategies and ongoing performance feedback. Drive a culture of engagement and inclusivity throughout the organization through clear communication, collaboration and recognition.

  • Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, and planning teams to deliver products on time and in full while achieving site volume and inventory targets.

  • Oversee site scheduling to balance customer demand, operational priorities, and capacity constraints. Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain continuity of supply. Ensure alignment of product mix, line performance, and scheduling efficiency within site Sales Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

  • Manage departmental budgets and key performance indicators for raw material days on hand and safety stock, inventory accuracy, supplier delivery performance, manufacturing capacity, and new product introduction milestones.

  • Plan, direct, and oversee raw materials planning and inventory control to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials and supporting current and future business needs.

  • Model and drive continuous improvement programs utilizing operational excellence and common tools (e.g. Six Sigma,  Root Cause Analysis (RCA)) and methodologies in processes and procedures within the department.

  • Align teams to site and division strategies via Management Operating System (MOS) and other forms of communications.

  • Oversight of site foreign trade zone operation and compliance in partnership with division stakeholders.

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree – Business, Operations Science
  • Minimum 1 year Experience with the regulatory standards and requirements for a food manufacturing environment is required
  • Minimum 5 years Experience supporting manufacturing is required Experience of people leadership is required

The base pay for this position is

$99,300.00 – $198,700.00
