Master Electrician – Data Center Facilities

We are seeking an experienced Master Electrician to lead maintenance operations and infrastructure performance across multiple mission-critical facilities, including large-scale data centers. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical and facility systems.

Hybrid role – onsite at least 2 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical infrastructure across buildings and data centers, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards
• Lead and supervise daily operations across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and facility systems
• Serve as the technical expert for high-voltage systems, UPS, generators, and switchgear
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure maximum uptime
• Collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams in a mission-critical environment
• Develop and maintain SOPs, MOPs, and safety procedures
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, NEC, and CIP standards
• Lead emergency response efforts and resolve critical incidents
• Manage vendors, budgets, and infrastructure upgrade projects
• Track and report performance metrics and system reliability

Required Qualifications

• Valid Master Electrician License (State of Texas)
• 8+ years of experience in facilities maintenance
• 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong experience in data centers or mission-critical environments
• Deep knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, redundancy, and backup systems (UPS/generators)
• Experience with CMMS, BMS, or data center monitoring tools (e.g., dcTrack)
• Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards (NFPA, OSHA, NEC, CIP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
• Certifications such as PMP, NICET, or LEED
• Experience with capital projects and infrastructure upgrades
