About the Role
As a Master Glass Technician, you'll be the go-to expert for complex glass installations, advanced problem-solving, and technical leadership. You'll oversee challenging projects involving fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, specialty machinery, and custom glass applications while mentoring technicians and ensuring every job meets FGS's high standards.

What You'll Do
- Perform windshield and glass installations, repairs, and replacements on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment
- Diagnose complex glass-related issues and develop effective repair or replacement solutions
- Lead and mentor technicians, providing hands-on training and technical guidance
- Ensure all work complies with company safety standards, industry best practices, and manufacturer specifications
- Conduct quality-control inspections and verify workmanship before project completion
- Coordinate with customers, fleet managers, and operations personnel to ensure successful project execution
- Assist with scheduling, field support, and troubleshooting on difficult installations
- Travel to customer locations and job sites as needed using company-provided vehicles and equipment
- Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
We're looking for a proven leader with:
- Extensive experience in automotive, commercial fleet, or heavy equipment glass installation
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced glass replacement techniques and problem-solving
- Strong leadership abilities with experience training and mentoring technicians
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently while leading teams in the field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of industry tools and materials
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience with mining, construction, agricultural, or specialty equipment glass
- Knowledge of fleet maintenance operations
