Under the direction of the area manager, the masonry operations manager is primarily responsible for the coordination, production and safe delivery of masonry products.
Things You’ll Do
Visualize, define, plan, communicate, and implement the company vision and core values.
Manage and provide training for masonry personnel and customers.
Responsible to oversee the production and verify the quality of all product being delivered.
Monitor employee training and certification.
Maintain division recruiting, hiring, promotion, and corrective action.
Assist in customer service through job-site visits.
Coordinate trouble shooting of masonry problems related to production and delivery.
Advise area manager when employee and customer situations are beyond scope of authority.
Maintain active involvement with industry related associations.
Prepare and submit reports as required.
Review, understand, and adhere to all union contracts.
Maintain insurable driving record.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with applicable masonry operations training and experience.
Bachelor of Science degree with masonry experience preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills.
Ability to review and analyze financial information.
Strategic thinking skills.
Ability to maintain agreeable relationships with vendors, employees, and customers.
