Detail Oriented, Hand Tools, Masonry, Scaffolding, Team Player
PRST is hiring an experienced Brick Mason for a project in La Mesa. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with block/brick laying and be able to work efficiently in a team environment. The position pays $35-$38 an hour DOE.
Scope of Work
- Lay brick/block for a 20 ft wall extension
- Install approximately 3–4 courses (rows)
- Total work includes ~60 ft of block/brick
- Work will begin at ~4 ft height (scaffolding provided)
- Assist with ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and finish
Responsibilities
- Lay brick/block and apply mortar
- Read basic layout and measurements
- Ensure work is level, straight, and structurally sound
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Coordinate with tender/laborer
Requirements
- Proven experience as a brick or block mason
- Ability to work on scaffolding
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Must be dependable and able to follow directions
