    Location: Mason Middle School

    Performance Responsibilities

    • Receives the public, school personnel, and others in an efficient and invitational manner.
    • Responsible for sorting mail and packages for distribution to appropriate department or personnel.
    • Update and maintain employee mailboxes throughout the school year.
    • Responsible for the preparation of documents assigned by the Principal.
    • Receives incoming calls and dispatches them appropriately.
    • Provide customer service for the general public, as well as students, teachers, staff, and other district personnel.
    • Maintain printouts of activities/meetings and important details of events at the front desk.
    • Manage parent volunteers for front desk; recruit, schedule, train, and oversee daily volunteer task. Maintain spreadsheet for work schedule.
    • Generate student work permits in the State of Ohio website system, as required.
    • Manage and utilize the lobby door entrance security access system at front desk (ALPhone).
    • Maintain and utilize Lobbyguard system for guest visitor badge.
    • Issue elevator key (s) to students and staff as needed and maintain a log system for keys.
    • Responsible for working open house night and one parent teacher conference.
    • Update and assign display cases to teacher/staff; maintain log and key checkout list.
    • Assist other departments as needed; including filing when requested or needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.
