Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, hard-working, dependable Sales Representative to service the state of Iowa. Position is responsible for establishing and developing business relationships with prospective customers and some current customers in the assigned territory/market. Training will be provided for all aspects of the position. We will give you the tools necessary to complete the job the Mahaska way.
Qualifications:
1. Previous sales experience is helpful.
2. Ability to drive daily between client locations.
3. Relates well to others – Is comfortable approaching new people and
developing relationships with key stakeholders at new accounts. Thrives on
making the sale and closing a deal.
4. Attention to Detail – Is thorough with good follow through.
5. Communication Skills – Is skilled with communicating both verbally and in
writing to a wide range of constituents. Comfortable leading sales presentations to a large audience.
6. Customer Service Skills – Works with external customers to provide a
positive experience.
7. Computer and technical skills – The ability to learn new technology and
explain to others.
8. Problem Solving Skills – The ability to identify problems, determine
accuracy and relevance of information and use sound judgement to
generate and recommend solutions.
9. Organizational Skills – The ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
while prioritizing effectively.
Requirements include:
1.Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
2.Must be 21 years of age or older, maintain a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
3.Must have a positive attitude, be able to multitask, and adapt well to changing environments.
