Minimum Qualifications
The Marketing Specialist supports strategic marketing efforts across the New England Region, with a focus on high-impact initiatives such as event execution, industry group support, proposal development, and marketing campaigns. This role collaborates closely with regional directors, industry leads, and teams to ensure effective delivery of regional and industry marketing goals. This role focuses on proposal development, assisting with event logistics, internal marketing initiatives, industry support activities, marketing coordination, and maintaining internal team resources across the New England region.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
Regional Industry & Service Team Marketing Support
Partner with Regional Marketing Director and Regional Marketing Managers to assist Providence, RI and Boston, MA office initiatives
Work closely with partners and practice leaders to identify marketing opportunities
Assist with internal meeting planning, materials, content tracking, and event coordination
Support regional and specialty industry groups by attending industry group meetings - assist with internal meeting planning, materials, content tracking, and event coordination
Support campaign and event planning specific to the assigned industry
Proposal Support
Support regional proposal requests, including review, interpretation, and response development for Request for Proposals (RFPs), helping oversee the process from kickoff through final submission
Draft, edit, and format persuasive, technical, and client-focused proposals, statements of qualifications, presentations, and related pursuit materials; help maintain the New England proposal library in coordination with national marketing leads and SMEs, ensuring templates, case studies, and firm credentials are accurate, current, and relevant for the region
Collaborate with the broader proposal team, offshore team, and business partners to develop polished final deliverables
Maintain team bios and industry experience as needed
Events/Sponsorships/Webinar Support
Assist with execution of conferences, tentpole events, and sponsorships
Bring forward new ideas based on local office needs and insights
Partner with regional leaders to ensure events align with growth goals
Assist with local event sponsorships and on-site needs (registrations, logistics, booth set-up, calendar invites, etc.)
Manage invite lists, RSVPs, and reporting regularly
Coordinate post-event feedback collection and metrics reporting
Campaigns, Content & Communications
Create marketing emails and digital campaigns through Pardot (training provided)
Assist with setting up emails, landing pages, and contact lists
Proactively communicate and expand current digital marketing campaigns to team
Pull engagement metrics for social, email or webinar campaigns
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
2-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in a professional services firm (accounting, law, consulting).
Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to collaborate across a matrixed organization and work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience developing messaging and positioning within marketing communications
Ability to think creatively and visualize final marketing deliverables
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce
Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Pardot or HubSpot preferred
Experience with project management platforms such as Asana or Workfront preferred
Design experience and familiarity with Canva or other design software a plus
Excellent communication skills -- written, verbal, and interpersonal.
Ability to adapt to change, manage competing priorities, and take initiative.
