Responsibilities


The Brightstar Marketing Specialist works with the Wisconsin Lottery team to ensure that retail, marketing, and advertising efforts are aligned around the Wisconsin Lottery’s specific business objectives. The role will support the Lottery’s marketing efforts, including product development, retail innovations, brand management, limited time offers, digital media, and more. This role has responsibility for day-to-day communication with the Wisconsin Lottery team and their marketing partners across product, sales, marketing and research initiatives. The Marketing Analyst will work alongside peers within Brightstar Corporate Marketing and the Wisconsin Lottery to assist and complete marketing projects including brand expansion, corporate accounts, as well as cross-functional teams including Sales, Product and Corporate Social Responsibility


+ Provides the WI Lottery and local Brightstar team with reporting and data analysis that provides clear and actionable insights in the areas of sales, category management, promotions and overall marketing strategy.

+ In partnership with Brightstar Corporate Marketing resources, participates in quarterly strategic meeting presentations to review business opportunities and marketing programs for the WI Lottery.

+ Participates in the development of Brightstar Wisconsin’s annual business and strategic planning to support the Wisconsin Lottery’s business plan and goals.

+ Ensures integration across business disciplines by working with the Lottery team on marketing and brand strategies as well as product and promotional activities related to the Wisconsin Lottery’s game portfolio.

+ Integrates consumer segmentation, player data and media insights into strategic planning, and participates in research activities as opportunities are identified.

+ Trains Lottery Staff and Lottery Retailers on new equipment and product launches. Performs other required tasks as assigned.


Qualifications


Education:


+ Bachelor’s degree concentration in marketing or related field.


Experience:


+ 3-5 years of marketing and/or data analytics experience in account management or planning/strategy.

+ Business-to-Consumer marketing experience within a fast-paced retail environment and/or CPG organization is preferred.

+ Proficient in data analytics, including tracking historical trends, forecasting, and more.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $67,200 - $164,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.


Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
