Position Overview:
The Marketing Operations Coordinator will coordinate marketing operations to support campaign execution, workflow management, and process improvement initiatives. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. The Marketing Operations Coordinator will serve as a key liaison between marketing teams and stakeholders, helping maintain organization across projects, communications, documentation, and assets while supporting the successful execution of integrated marketing strategies.

Responsibilities of the Marketing Operations Coordinator:
  • Manage and track incoming marketing requests within workflow management tools.
  • Enter, update, prioritize, and move tickets through workflow queues.
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule by proactively following up with cross-functional teams.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of marketing materials.
  • Schedule meetings, send calendar invitations, and coordinate meeting logistics.
  • Ensure all presentations, decks, and supporting materials are finalized, uploaded, and accessible prior to meetings.
  • Partner with assistants and cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for key meetings and initiatives.
  • Update presentation decks with light content edits, formatting changes, and data updates.
  • Capture meeting notes and translate discussions into actionable next steps.
  • Maintain organization across marketing documentation, assets, and project records.
  • Act as a liaison between marketing teams and other departments.
  • Communicate project updates, identify gaps, and proactively address missing information.
  • Support coordination with senior stakeholders and team leads.
Required Experience/Skills for the Marketing Operations Coordinator:
  • Experience working in enterprise, big-box retail, or large agency environments.
  • Comfortable operating within high-volume, fast-paced organizations.
  • Background in project coordination, marketing operations, or administrative support.
  • Experience supporting marketing strategy teams or senior marketing leaders is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of holistic and integrated 360° marketing concepts.
  • Familiarity with core marketing functions, including CRM, media, digital marketing, and brand management.
  • Ability to follow multi-channel marketing conversations and translate them into actionable execution plans.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Marketing Operations Coordinator:
  • Experience in retail or marketing operations environments.
  • Ability to analyze marketing data and identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams in a complex organizational structure.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
