We're Hiring: Director of Marketing

Turn Automotive Passion into an Iconic Brand Story.

At Vintage Air, performance is personal.

For more than 50 years, Vintage Air has been the name enthusiasts trust for premium climate control systems in classic cars, hot rods, trucks, and custom builds. Our products are found in some of the most impressive vehicles in the automotive aftermarket—and we're just getting started.

We're looking for an experienced Director of Marketing to lead and elevate our brand. This is not a role for someone who simply markets products—it's for someone who lives and breathes automotive culture.

If you have a proven track record in automotive marketing, thrive in a hands-on environment, and understand what drives builders, restorers, installers, and enthusiasts, this is an opportunity to shape the voice of one of the industry's most respected brands.

Why Vintage Air?

  • Lead marketing for an iconic automotive brand.

  • Make a direct and visible impact on company growth.

  • Work alongside passionate people who love what they do.

  • Join a culture built on craftsmanship, innovation, and authenticity.

  • Enjoy the opportunity to shape the future of a market leader in the automotive aftermarket.

What You'll Lead

As Director of Marketing, you'll own the strategy, execution, and evolution of Vintage Air's marketing efforts across all channels. You'll be responsible for bringing our brand to life and connecting with customers wherever they engage with us.

Your focus will include:

  • Brand strategy and positioning

  • Digital marketing and customer engagement

  • Website experience and e-commerce optimization

  • Content development (social, video, email, web, and print)

  • Product launch campaigns

  • Marketing analytics and performance measurement

  • Community engagement within the automotive enthusiast space

  • Trade shows and industry events

  • Marketing technology, CRM, and automation

Your mission is simple: translate automotive passion into compelling campaigns and measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that strengthen brand awareness and support company growth.

  • Lead the creation of compelling messaging for highly engineered automotive products.

  • Oversee content creation across digital, social, email, video, and print platforms.

  • Drive website performance, user experience, merchandising, and conversion optimization initiatives.

  • Manage CRM and marketing automation tools to enhance customer engagement and retention.

  • Analyze campaign performance, customer insights, and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.

  • Lead go-to-market execution for new product launches and major initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, and Leadership to ensure alignment across the organization.

  • Serve as a brand ambassador at industry events, trade shows, and within enthusiast communities.

  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing function that reflects the innovation and craftsmanship of the Vintage Air brand.

This position is based onsite in San Antonio, Texas, with approximately 25–35% travel throughout the year.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience within automotive manufacturing or the automotive aftermarket.

  • Genuine passion for classic cars, hot rods, restorations, or automotive culture.

  • Demonstrated success leading multi-channel marketing initiatives.

  • Experience marketing technical, engineered, or performance-driven products.

  • Strong knowledge of CRM, marketing automation, and digital marketing platforms.

  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and hands-on environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • Experience within the automotive aftermarket or durable goods manufacturing industries.

  • Strong background in digital marketing, UX, SEO, and conversion optimization.

  • Experience with distributor and installer-focused marketing strategies.

  • Proven success building brand engagement and customer loyalty.

Ready to Build Something Legendary?

If you're passionate about cars, inspired by great brands, and excited by the opportunity to lead marketing for an industry icon, we'd love to hear from you.

Join Vintage Air and help define what's next for performance climate control in the world's coolest vehicles.
