The Global C-Store Marketing Director will be based in North America – Grapevine TX

Job Summary

The Director will manage the marketing for numerous products, categories or programs with complexity in scope or size within the newly created Global C-Store division.  This role will support Net sales, which are at least $75 million, and/or has independent responsibility for marketing plans for corporate accounts, where net sales are at least $200 million; may support a smaller division and serve in a broader role.  He or she will also manage a team and drive overall team strategy, as well as actively works with teams to have broad understanding of market -- competitive as well as customer insights -- and transferring that knowledge into actionable strategies; build strong partnership with selling organization and connects marketing strategies to sales goals, ; actively communicates and shares knowledge with global business counterparts and acts as a champion of the Ecolab brand and delivery of the Ecolab Experience.

What you will do

  • Champions the Ecolab brand and creates brand-building strategies in the C-Store segment.
  • Champions disruptive innovation. Creates actionable opportunities for step change in industry norms.
  • Synthesizes competitive insights, VOB/VOB and technology trends into strategies and tactics to drive business objectives.
  • Envisions and advocates for transformative business strategies, virtual reality and digital innovations.
  • Partners with key industry leaders to identify opportunities to drive business value.
  • Sets strategy and drives execution.
  • Sets three- to five-year business plans.
  • Reports to the VP & GM Global C-Store Division.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MBA and BA or BS in Business and/or Marketing
  • Eight years of related Marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Marketing experience preferably in a B2B environment. Sales and Marketing experience in the Grocery Retail sector is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and use of sound judgment in a fast-paced environment are essential. 
  • Strategic capabilities with ability to execute
  • Proven track record of successful initiatives and management.
  • Ability to work independently and to handle multiple tasks 
  • Understanding and commitment to customer priorities.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to create strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Global mindset, with global experience preferred
  • Ability to navigate complex matrix organization
  • Executive presentation experience preferred
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
  • Proficient with Office 365 applications.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $142,900.00 - $214,300.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentives based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
