Our client is a highly respected professional services firm seeking a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to support strategic marketing initiatives, business development efforts, and brand consistency across multiple regional offices. Salary/Hourly Rate:
$75k - $85k

Position Overview:
The Marketing & Business Development Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Marketing and work closely with attorneys, leadership, and cross-functional internal teams to support business development strategy, event execution, branding, and client-facing communications. This role requires a strong mix of strategic thinking, project management, communication, and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities of the Marketing & Business Development Coordinator:
  • The Marketing & Business Development Coordinator will oversee day-to-day marketing functions across regional offices while adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Travel regularly to regional offices, serving as the primary marketing liaison and representative for those locations.
  • Develop and support regional, office-wide, and practice-specific strategic business development plans.
  • Collaborate with leadership and internal stakeholders to ensure marketing and business development priorities are met.
  • The Marketing & Business Development Coordinator will prepare agendas for and lead practice group meetings, office-wide meetings, and strategic planning retreats
  • Partner with Marketing, Events, HR, and Hospitality teams to coordinate internal morale-building and community events.
  • Coordinate external client-facing events, including networking events, seminars, webinars, speaking engagements, sponsorships, and conferences.
  • Serve as liaison between the firm and external organizations to ensure sponsorship deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Track and evaluate ROI for sponsorships, conferences, and professional involvement initiatives.
  • Strategize and prepare RFPs, proposals, and pitch materials to support new business opportunities.
  • The Marketing & Business Development Coordinator will draft and edit press releases, professional biographies, award submissions, newsletters, and client communications.
  • Support additional marketing, research, branding, and social media initiatives as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Marketing & Business Development Coordinator:
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, business development, or professional services marketing.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Marketing & Business Development Coordinator:
  • Law firm or legal industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Constant Contact, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and SurveyMonkey.
  • Experience supporting business development strategy, events, and proposal management.
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is required.
