Description

South Carolina Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our team of outstanding Marketing professionals in North Charleston, SC.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Together with the VP of Digital Marketing, manages marketing automation tech stack, data feeds, and related vendor relationships.
  • Responsible in the design, implementation, and analysis of automated marketing workflows.
  • Responsible for creating appealing visuals and copy for online properties.
  • Explore and implement new electronic delivery technologies to increase sales leads.
  • Plan and implement electronically targeted email communications and potentially browser push, in-app messaging, SMS to members based on credit union needs.
  • Monitor email/web promotional campaigns, trends, and statistics to evaluate performance and effectiveness and make recommendations to management.
  • Collaborates with internal partners and external vendors to ensure all online properties function effectively, are guided by business objectives, excellence in copywriting, and showcase standardized brand elements across all properties.
  • Performs A/B tests regularly to increase the effectiveness of digital messaging programs.
  • Ensure privacy policies are followed. Stays current on email deliverability requirements and regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.) and utilize those findings to improve marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure projects are managed on time, accurately, within budget, and produce quality results.
  • Identify and troubleshoot platform and data feed-related issues.
  • Research and provide guidance regarding the latest tech innovations, new business initiatives, third-party solutions, and effective templates and strategies.
  • Support all levels of digital marketing team efforts as needed, such as graphics, website, project management, reports, presentations, emergency communications, and digital advertising.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in marketing or in similar or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Possess a minimum of three years of similar or related experience working in digital marketing.
  • Possess direct working experience writing marketing copy and creating appealing visuals for e-mails, websites, and promotions.
  • Possess direct working experience planning and implementing and evaluating electronically targeted email/web communications and campaigns.
  • Possess direct working experience creating and editing visuals and content utilizing Adobe Creative Suite and HTML.
  • Possess direct working experience with marketing automation software.
  • Possess knowledge of marketing compliance.
  • Possess knowledge of consumer behaviors, market segmentation, and the financial industry.
  • Possess demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Possess demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Possess demonstrated ability to effectively plan and organize multiple tasks and projects.
