The Marketing Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Department for a large, dynamic restaurant and hospitality organization. This role provides administrative, coordination, and project support across multiple marketing initiatives, while working closely with internal teams and external partners to help execute brand and local marketing programs effectively.
Responsibilities:
Provide daily administrative and operational support to the Marketing Department
Field incoming sales and marketing-related calls and route inquiries appropriately
Track marketing billings, invoices, and departmental expenditures
Open work orders and assist with job trafficking and project coordination
Conduct research on marketing opportunities, proposals, and competitive activities
Support the Brand Manager in coordinating the production of promotional and marketing materials
Order and manage inventory of marketing collateral and supplies
Collaborate with restaurant and operations managers to help develop and implement local marketing initiatives
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
Previous marketing experience within the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent verbal and phone communication skills
Clear and professional written communication skills
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and dependable with strong follow-through
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Professional personal appearance with a friendly, polished, and customer-focused demeanor
