We are seeking a passionate and creative Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our team and help us raise awareness, engage our community, and plan impactful events. Summary of Essential Job Functions
Graphic Design & Marketing:
Design visually appealing marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, banners, and social media graphics that align with IKUS' branding guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to create engaging and informative content such as blog posts, press releases, and newsletters.
Catalog and maintain our photo collection to showcase IKUS' activities and achievements.
Maintain an organized content calendar to ensure timely and relevant messaging.
Website and Social Media Management:
Create and curate compelling content for various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn to increase engagement, followers, and brand awareness.
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and maintain a positive online presence.
Track social media to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
Maintain IKUS' website, mailing lists, and social media to ensure content is regularly updated with the most recent information and messages are returned in a timely manner.
Event Planning:
Independently coordinate community events such as annual Trick or Treat Street and Breakfast with Santa, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, committee/staff tasks, volunteers, materials and promotion, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and marketing. Be the key associate at community events including preparation, set-up, event execution and tear-down.
Serve as point person for all retreat and catering inquiries. Coordinate and lead committees to support each as needed.
Support the Development Director in organization wide fundraising events including marketing materials, record keeping, planning meetings, and logistic support.
Maintain and consistently update documentation of all special events.
Collaboration and Outreach:
Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for marketing and events.
Build and maintain relationships with community partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
Represent IKUS at external events and engage with the disability community to foster connections and support.

Position Information:
Job Type: Full time, salaried position
Location: In person, primarily. Flexible work arrangements available.
Pay: $40,000 - $45,000 or commensurate with experience
Reports to: Executive Director
