ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Central California Asthma Collaborative (CCAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing health equity and environmental justice by empowering Central Californiacommunities through services, research, advocacy, and data-driven solutions to reduce theburden of asthma. CCAC has 50+ full-time employees and six offices in Central California communities from Bakersfield to Sacramento.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing and Communications Associate supports CCAC's marketing and outreach efforts by creating compelling content across social media, video, print materials, and web platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling through visuals and digital media, understands how to create community-centered communications, and is passionate about environmental health and nonprofit impact.
The ideal candidate is a strong content creator who can produce social media graphics, short-form video, flyers, and other collateral, while also helping maintain website content and support campaign visibility. This position works closely with the Marketing Communications Manager and plays an important role in helping CCAC connect with the community in meaningful and accessible ways.
