Our Nursing Home client is looking for a Marketing and Admissions Coordinator.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position increases admissions to the care center by developing relationships with area healthcare service providers to introduce the services of the skilled nursing facility, processes admissions, and develops a plan to bring new clients to our community. At this time we are only considering candidates with experience marketing a healthcare facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Identifies and responds appropriately to all requests for skilled nursing facility information from families, referral sources, and interested parties. Maintains excellent business relationships with health care providers, and strives to build relationships with other sources via cold calls and personal visits.
- Articulates information regarding skilled nursing services, benefits, and how the community differentiates itself from other skilled nursing facilities.
- Verifies each resident's payer source and maintains and tracks insurance information and certifications.
- Acts under the direction of the PR director for the company and carries out the facility marketing effort. Participates in events to attract new clientele. Tracks marketing activities by maintaining a weekly log of phone inquiries, tours, admissions, etc.
- Inputs data from admission paperwork to electronic medical record system.
- Communicates with and assists residents and families when transitioning to our facility by providing support and education as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:- Attends all mandatory meetings and in-services.
- Exhibits a clean and neat appearance while following dress code standards.
- Adheres to safety practices and department standards.
- Adheres to all policies and is consistently at work and on time.
- Must shelter in place or evacuate with the facility in the event of a Hurricane
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $32,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
