Job Title: Market Research Analyst
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break (8 working hours/day, 40 hours/week). Some flexibility on start/end times is acceptable as long as core hours (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM ET) are covered.
Compensation: $28.25/hr
Type: 5-month contract

This position offers a dynamic environment where you'll contribute to strategic decision-making and innovation initiatives, working closely with a talented team dedicated to identifying the best startups for partnership. Responsibilities
  • Conduct landscape assessments and prepare startups mappings according to identified needs
  • Perform tech due-diligence and risk assessments on relevant startups
  • Maintain focus on new technologies and identify new trends and opportunities
  • Document and report findings clearly to support the team's decision-making

Requirements
  • Software engineering / computer science degree is a must
  • Well versed in technology, familiar with market trends and key players
  • Ability to conduct tech due diligence in a broad range of areas
  • Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Strong analytical skills, fast learner
  • Ability to think strategically and translate to actions to 'get things done'
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
