As a Market Clinical Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the clinical and operational success of your market. Youll be responsible for achieving market performance objectives, fostering a culture of excellence, and overseeing the financial growth and P&L of your centers. This role balances clinical leadership and direct patient care as a Primary Care Physician (PCP), with a key focus on mentoring, developing, and leading your team to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Clinical Teams: Manage, mentor, and coach Medical Directors across multiple centers, ensuring they deliver superior clinical outcomes and meet performance goals.
Drive Clinical Excellence: Ensure the successful execution of ChenMeds clinical model and culture, focusing on improving patient outcomes and service quality.
Patient Care: Spend a portion of your time providing direct patient care as a PCP, delivering high-quality care while balancing leadership duties.
Talent Development: Oversee the growth of clinicians within your centers through practice shadowing, coaching, and leadership development plans.
Foster Collaboration: Cultivate strong partnerships with interdisciplinary teams, local specialists, hospitals, and payers to enhance patient care and promote a community-driven approach.
Engage and Inspire: Build a positive and inclusive work culture by responding to team needs, driving engagement, and ensuring a supportive, high-performing environment.
Market Leadership: Drive key initiatives that contribute to market performance, including quality improvement, cost reduction strategies, and clinical goal achievement.
Qualifications:
Education: MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a similar specialty required.
Experience:
At least 3 years of clinical experience (5 years preferred).
A proven leader in healthcare, ideally with 2+ years as a Medical Director or equivalent, preferably with a Medicare/Medicaid patient population.
Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a similar specialty (preferred).
Experience managing complex patient populations, with expertise in chronic disease management, population risk management, and quality improvement.
Previous experience as a PCP or Medical Director within the ChenMed model is a strong plus.
