Marine Technician Benfield Marine is a growing, family-owned marine service company looking for a motivated Marine Technician to join our team. We specialize in mobile and in-shop boat repair, maintenance, and fiberglass services across Middle Tennessee.

Pay: Competitive, based on experience and skill level
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair marine engines and systems (inboard, outboard, sterndrive)
- Use diagnostic tools/software to troubleshoot engine and electrical issues
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, impellers, lower unit service, battery testing, winterization)
- Conduct full-system inspections (electrical, fuel, steering, propulsion)
- Complete service documentation accurately and follow shop procedures
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with customers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications- Strong mechanical aptitude (marine experience preferred, but not required)
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Dependable with a solid work ethic
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license preferred (for mobile service calls)
