SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Warehouse Associates for a large, well-known client in Roanoke, TX. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be an essential part of our client’s daily operations, ensuring accurate receiving, stocking, inventory control, and order fulfillment within the parts warehouse.
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing warehousing activities including checking in shipments, stocking inventory, pulling orders, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($18/hour) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.Available shifts vary. Overtime may be available based on business needs.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate:

Check in daily incoming shipments by comparing actual counts to packing slips.
Post incoming packing slips into the computer system and follow procedures for shortages or damaged parts.
Process incoming stock orders within 24 hours of receipt.
Stock inventory in proper bin locations and ensure all parts are labeled with barcode bin labels.
Create new bin locations in the system for new parts.
Dispose of excess packing materials after shipments are verified.
Pull parts for orders, ensuring part numbers and quantities match order requirements.
Initial all pick slips and verify accuracy.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment following corporate safety guidelines.
Process returns, verify parts are in resalable condition, and complete return paperwork including tracking and freight costs.
File freight claims for shortages or damaged parts within 24 hours of receipt.
Operate forklift equipment (company certification required within 90 days).
May be required to drive company vehicle for parts pick-up or delivery as needed.

Required Qualifications of the Warehouse Associate:

Minimum 1 year of related warehouse experience required.
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer skills for inventory and data entry.
Ability to operate or become certified on forklift equipment within 90 days (must be at least 18 years old).
Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials as needed.
Valid driver’s license (if driving on behalf of the company is required).
