Your work spans the full breadth of assembly and integration: fabricating lightweight carbon fibre composite structures, building cable harnesses and high‑density battery packs, integrating avionic subsystems, and running end‑to‑end ground tests to verify that every system is ready to fly. Beyond the build itself, you will play an active role in developing and refining the assembly and testing processes that will carry this programme from early prototypes into a mature, repeatable production flow — working closely with engineers to transition new designs from drawing board to reality.Your day‑to‑day responsibilitiesAssembly of large, but very lightweight unmanned aircraftFabrication of lightweight aircraft structures/components and building CFRP composite partsDevelopment of new assembly, integration and testing processes, and tools for an ultra‑light UAVManufacturing of electronics assemblies and sub‑level components (such as cable harness manufacturing and battery manufacturing of state‑of‑the‑art high power density batteries)Transitioning new designs from engineering to manufacturingWhat we're looking forMust haves2+ years of relevant experience as an electrical/electromechanical/electronic technician with a hands‑on approachExperience with mechanical prototyping (3D printing, using basic mechanical workshop equipment)Basic knowledge of CAD toolsGood command of the English language, both oral and writtenNice to havesHands‑on experience in aircraft, robot, race car or similar system prototyping & manufacturingGood systems and physics understandingExperience with compositesExperience working with electronic equipment (prototype boards, harness, test setups)Development of process improvements and setups to improve cycle times, repeatability, and maturityProactive, can‑do attitudeCuriosity and passion about technologyBenefitsOur benefits are designed to support your health and wellbeing, at work and beyond.
