Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support production operations by performing technical duties within electronic, mechanical, and systems-based manufacturing environments.

 

Job Description

  • Perform technical duties on assigned manufacturing and production projects.
  • Execute testing, measurements, and process control activities using established procedures.
  • Utilize job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers, and bills of materials to complete assigned work.
  • Maintain and operate production tools and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot product, process, and program issues to identify defects and perform necessary repairs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Identify electronic and mechanical components accurately.
  • Perform wire preparation, stripping, crimping, harness repair, and termination.
  • Safely and effectively use manual hand tools and power tools.
  • Assist with electronics, hydraulics, mechanical assemblies, automated machine operation, and basic machine programming.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by following lean manufacturing principles and standardized work practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.

 

Skills Required

  • 1–3 years of manufacturing or technical experience in a production environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or systems-related equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Understanding of bills of materials (BOMs) and parent/child product structures.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to navigate simple software applications.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

Education

  • Required: Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, Hydraulics, or a related technical field.

 

Additional requirements

  • Shift: 06:00 to 15:30 Monday through Friday

 

Pay rate

  • $23 - $25 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
