A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to establish and maintain an accurate, searchable inventory of spare parts supporting production and R&D operations. This role is responsible for cataloging and organizing inventory, maintaining accurate records, improving parts accessibility, and supporting equipment uptime through effective inventory management and documentation.

Manufacturing Technician Responsibilities:

  • Catalog all spare parts by identifying, documenting, and recording part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and storage locations while maintaining an accurate and searchable inventory database.
  • Organize inventory by arranging parts, bins, and shelving to improve accessibility, workflow, safety, and efficient retrieval of critical components.
  • Apply standardized labels to inventory locations and components, maintain accurate inventory records, and enter data into inventory management systems or spreadsheets.
  • Perform inventory audits and gap analysis by identifying missing, duplicate, inaccurate, or ambiguous records and reporting discrepancies for resolution.
  • Create and maintain inventory documentation, procedures, and records to support ongoing inventory management, production continuity, and equipment uptime.

Manufacturing Technician Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations, or material management processes.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets or inventory management software.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to accurately manage inventory records and data entry.
  • Experience with inventory cataloging, asset tracking, or warehouse organization is preferred.
