Manufacturing Technician

Contract-to-Hire | Eagan, MN | $18–$26/hour (DOE)

4-day work week (Mon–Thurs, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm)

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support production operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with room for growth and hands-on training.

Responsibilities:

• Operate standard shop equipment (chop saw, drill press, grinder, etc.)
• Perform general assembly and machine operation tasks
• Read and follow shop drawings and work instructions (training provided)
• Conduct basic in-process measurements and quality checks
• Assist with routine equipment maintenance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Support material handling, including forklift operation (training available)
• Prepare finished goods for shipment (counting, packing, palletizing, wrapping)
• Assist with additional shop and production tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Some experience in manufacturing, production, or an industrial environment
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods
• Ability to lift to 40 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and ability to work well on a team
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Electrical or wiring experience is a plus
