The technician will work closely with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to diagnose equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, manage spare parts inventory, and assist with equipment installations and assembly line modifications. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience with CAD/drafting, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.ResponsibilitiesResponds to assembly line equipment repair calls, by diagnosing equipment problems, and performing the necessary repairDocument’s equipment qualifications and upgrades made to existing machines, including preventative maintenance performed and parts used, to ensure appropriate documentation of repair history in INFOR EAMMaintains back-up equipment and ensures spare parts are maintained at the required levels, to meet manufacturing equipment needsAssists manufacturing, and quality engineers in the operation of equipmentProvides equipment development engineers with feedback on equipment issues and offers suggestions for improving equipment uptimeAssist in the construction of worktables, providing necessary utilities, and setting up of equipment on manufacturing assembly linesModifies existing assembly lines or workstations as required to accommodate manufacturing demandsInitiates or maintains work schedule and establishes priorities of work assignmentsSolves a wide range of complex problems requiring advanced interpretation of generally defined procedures and practicesSelects methods and practices to obtain imaginative, thorough, and practical solutions to questionsMaintains general knowledge of products/services associated with area and employees involved with specific product lines and servicesCo-ordinates with calibration personnel of location of manufacturing equipmentOrganize and maintain spare parts inventory **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.** **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.** Benefits: For information and details on employment benefits offered with this position, please visit here.
