Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician II to join an advanced aerospace manufacturing team in Tulsa, OK. This role supports aerospace and spaceflight production through hands-on fabrication, structural assembly, and precision manufacturing processes while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Required Experience & Skills
High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED
2 8 years of manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly experience
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and process documentation
Strong mechanical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail
Experience handling precision components in manufacturing environments
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet production deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer proficiency with production or inventory systems
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform hands-on mechanical fabrication and structural manufacturing tasks
Use hand tools, fabrication equipment, and inspection tools to complete production work
Work within fabrication disciplines including deburring, shearing, polishing, sawing, and routing
Cross-train in manufacturing processes including assembly, brake forming, heat treat, hot forming, and press forming
Follow detailed work instructions, process sheets, engineering drawings, and routers
Handle precision aerospace components carefully to maintain quality standards
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured parts
Complete production documentation including inspection logs, routers, and material records
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace
Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues and improve manufacturability
Support production goals related to Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Attitude (QCDSA)
Preferred Experience
Sheet metal fabrication experience preferred
Familiarity with AS9100 aerospace quality standards
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives
Mechanical experience in aerospace, automotive, or motorsports manufacturing
Forklift or material handling experience (certification required)
Additional Requirements
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Ability to comply with OSHA, NADCAP, ISO9000 / AS9100, ITAR, and FAA regulations
Ability to obtain internal certifications including forklift, slings/cranes, FPV, or heat treat certifications
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout 8 12 hour shifts
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 25 50 lbs regularly(heavier lifting with assistance)
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise, vibration, and temperature variation
Ability to wear required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection
Safety Sensitive Position
This position is designated as Safety Sensitive under Oklahoma law. Drug testing applies, and medical marijuana use is not permitted in this role, even with a valid license.
