Manufacturing Technician I - Test & Troubleshoot Servers

Johnson Service Group is seeking to hire multiple positions for Manufacturing Technician I's for a Day and Swing Shifts.  This roles are contract positions that can go full-time based on performance.

Day Shift:  6:35 a.m. - 3:05 p.m.
Payrate $24.50 
Swing Shift:  3:45 p.m. - 12:15 a.m.
Payrate:  $26.00


Job Responsibilities

•    Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and basic troubleshooting of complex       circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. 
•    Follow test process instructions (TPI).
•    May perform other tasks including but not limited to unpacking, packaging,           moving servers or racks, placing labels and crating. 
•    Any additional assigned tasks. 

Job Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
• Effectively communicate.
• Familiarity with manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of basic office applications, MS Office (Word, Excel) to work on spreadsheets and databases.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of computer hardware.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting and handling computer components.
• Experience troubleshooting software.
• Running command lines, familiar with coding (Python, Java or equivalent a plus!

Physical Requirements

•    Ability to regularly lift, push, and or move up to 50lbs. 
•    Ability to stand for a prolonged period. 
•    Ability to work on ladders. 

Education and Experience

• Typically requires 1 year of related experience
• High School Diploma
