Follow all safety rules and model safe behaviors at all times. Identify and assess safety risk at all times
Take ownership for training to ensure equipment is operated safely and to continuously learn and build capability and skill
Communicate efficiently and effectively with supervision and with equipment and engineering teams to escalate issues
Identify continuous improvement opportunities including safety/ergonomic concerns and yield and delivery concerns. Lead problem solving for small improvement projects. Execute housekeeping and ensure 5S is sustained
Understand equipment controls, monitor recipes and good run settings to ensure process is in control, and interact with equipment as necessary. Perform autonomous maintenance type PMs
Coordinate work for team based on planned and unplanned downtime, production schedules, and cycle times. Back-up for all positions in their area. Communicate status of equipment and key KPIs to supervision and to next shift
Responsible for finished material quality for the area
Experience in large or small scale manufacturing in a production process role
Demonstrated proficiency in web handling processes within the Cell Foil Coating Team
Experience with operating and troubleshooting automated/semi-automated manufacturing equipment, basic mechanical troubleshooting preferred
Demonstrate ability to analyze problems and error conditions, identify root causes, and implement viable long-term solutions, Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles is preferred, but not required
Comfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamic work environment and passion to perform time-sensitive analysis under pressure
Demonstrated ability to be a self-driven contributor with limited supervision
Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
